If you tore down your carburetor for the very first time you’d probably use a shop manual, right? How else would you know what to do? And if you didn’t have the directions, you could be reasonably sure that it wouldn’t run good, or at all. God has given us a "user’s manual". Unfortunately, even though many have a manual, known as The Holy Bible, it rarely gets cracked open. 2 Timothy 2:15 says, "Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." No wonder so many people that claim the name of Christ Jesus have no power and cannot be distinguished from someone that does not even know The Lord. The manual stays on the shelf! There are, on the average, 31 days in the month and 31 chapters in the book of Proverbs- accident? I think not. Take a chapter a day and see what God does.
